Another Tale

There once lived in a faraway castle a little Princess with her mother and father.

The kingdom was not as big as one from the old fairy tales, and the King was not as brave as he should have been. He was a normal human being with no power at all. Sometimes he was cruel, sometimes he was kind, but that depended on how much he ate in that day, the meat was his favorite. His servants would put meat in every dish just to please the King.

His Queen was a beauty. She would take care of their daughter like a good mother she was, but she didn’t like the king’s cravings since she was a veggie.

One evening, the family together with a wise Wizard and a Godmother had dinner at the castle. Together with them there were two other unusual friends: the Cat and the Dog. They were not normal pets, they could talk but only the princess could hear them. Why? Because she was the only one who believed in magic.

–I’m glad you two came for dinner! I hope you enjoy the dishes, said the Queen.

–Thank you for your invitation, my Queen! Said the Godmother

–Where is my meat, you stupid servants! Said the King.

The Queen was so embarrassed because of her husband and continued: ‑Would you like to see my daughter’s dance? She is so skilled!

-That would be lovely, said the Godmother.

–But, mother, I don’t want to dance, I am shy! Said the Princess.

-O dear, you don’t have to be, said the Wizard. It is a good thing you can dance. I just remembered my youth when I and your Godmother used to dance at every ball…. I want to be young again.

Let’s just skip this long and boring conversation and move a little forward. Now the Princess is in her room with her two friends. She looks sad.

–Oh, of, oh…. ‑What’s with the oh’s? Said the Cat, it hurts my ears, and I want to sleep peacefully.

–Be quite! Little scary Cat! Said the Dog. Don’t you see our friend is sad? What happened, Princess?

–I just wish my parents do not argue all the time. I think I’m going to sleep! See you in the morning! Good night!

That night the Princess had a strange dream, but she could not remember the details, so I apologize to my reader for this misfortune. The Princess woke up and went to the dining room. Everything was so quiet, apparently everyone was sleeping, or not. She liked the idea of being alone in the castle because she considered herself a mature person. She was quite smart for her age, she was a beauty like her mother, she often borrowed her mother’s makeups (I would like to mention the fact that her mother didn’t know about this situation, and we can substitute the word borrow with steal, even if this word is not suitable for a princess. A princess should be everything, but not a thief).

Suddenly she heard voices from the other room. There were her mother, father, the Godmother, the Wizard and a strange, crazy, mad clown laughing so hard at some jokes. They completely forgot about the Princess. She was concerned about that problem, it seemed like they were under a curse. Her father was laughing and eating so much. With every bite he took, he transformed himself into a balloon. Her mother would not take her eyes from the mysterious man, who was the perfect man, slim and handsome. Her head began to transform into a heart. The Godmother was obsessed with cleaning and cooking, one of her hands changed into a pan and the other into a broom. The Wizard has discovered his poetic side. He wrote poems about youth and love for a special Godmother. His love switched from kind and romantic to a hysterical one.

A big smirk could have been seen on the clown’s face, but little did he know that there were some creatures unaffected by his curse: the Cat and the Dog which could not understand human jokes. Definitely, the Princess could not be cursed because she is the main character of the tale, she has to be the saviour.

The three of them knew that they had to find something magical in order to stop the clown’s curse. Later that day the adventure was decided. The Princess took with her food, her make up products (because no girl should live home without them) and some clothes. She wanted to be taken seriously and took with her knives and guns: Springfield Armory 45 ACP (11.43x23 mm), GLOCK 19, Gen 3, 9mm LUGER (9x19mm), MAKAROV,9X18.

On their way, in a bizarre forest, they heard some fragile voices. She was not scared because she remembered some of her mother’s stories about elves. They were not dangerous, but they enjoyed pranking their guests. Four elves were playing football with two little pixies and a giant wolf slept under a tree. The little creatures discovered the Princess and her friends, but they were not afraid because the wolf would take care of them.

- ‑Stay away, wolf! I’m not scared of you! I am a brave Princess. I came here to look for magic so that I could help my family come to their senses. They were cursed by a psychotic clown.

–Indeed… you… came for that, Princess! It has been a while since I ate a Princess for dinner.

–Wolfy, said the red Pixie, let the girl live. Hello, Princess, I am the pixie of this forest. Welcome to our home. She is Wolfy, our werewolf. She is usually cute and sensitive, but she likes to pretend she is cruel. Look! The Pixie hid into the werewolf’s fur and tickled, tickled her since Wolfy was ticklish.

–Hello, I am the blue Elf! I am funny! Do you want to play with us?

–Thank you for your invitation but we have to continue our journey.

–If I may ask… do you know how it looks like? Wolfy said.

–I heard that far away in this forest there is a magical lake, its water can cure everything, said the Pixie.

–Thank you! Then we shall go there.

–If only it were that simple. It is said that the lake is protected by three ogres, said Wolfy.

–I am not afraid! I will kill them and come back with the water, the brave Princess said.

–You, a Cat and a Dog!? Let us come with you, we are all great fighters.

The Princess and her friends started their journey. Finding the lake was not easy. They have travelled for almost two years.

–Why didn’t you stay at your castle and wait for some Princes to do this business? Like every princesses, said Wolfy.

‑Because I want to do it on my own. I want to change people’s mentality. Women can be as brave as men, we fight for our rights too, and I just want to prove that women can rule a kingdom better than a man.

–Why do you think that?

–Because a strong and wise woman can conquer the world, a delicate touch of a woman is all that is needed.

During one morning they reached the place. The ogres were there, big and hideous. The fight began. The Princess used her Makarov gun, the Pixie used her fairy dust, the Elf his ability to trick the ogre, the Dog and Wolfy used their fangs and paws and the Cat used his wisdom and led the others to victory.

They took a bottle of water and returned. At the castle they fought with the clown. The Princess used her strong gun, Springfield Armory, and killed him. In order to undo the curse they prepared a dinner using the magic water.

The curse was broken and they lived happily ever after. Due to her heroic facts, the Princess became Queen and ruled for a very long time with the help of her little friends.

The end.
